FFC Grand Sherif competing in a confirmation class

I am a hunt seat rider, but Puck loves to go Western. Here we are at the ECAHS Crabbet Celebration in 2004.

Puck's first and only get: a lovely half Arab (Quarab) filly named Sindarin, shown here at one day old with her dam AQHA registered Moon Gate ForSure.

Here is Sindarin at two and a half. The fine head, eye and set of the neck (which you can't see in this photo), are straight from her sire. She is incredibly athletic and moves like her sire rather than her dam. (Sindarin's dam is no slouch either, but is classic Quarterhorse.) Sindarin is maturing at about her dam's height of 15.2, showing that FFC Grand Sherif is a good option to add refinement and athletic ability without necessarily sacrificing height.

(If you are wondering about the gorgeous dapple gray, that is FFC Csea Bandit, my sister's gelding, another fine performance horse from Fairfield Farm)

Equally at home in western or hunter tack, FFC Grand Sherif "Puck" cheerfully manages an under saddle class with mares, geldings and other stallions.

Our resident stallion is FFC Grand
Sherif, on lease to us from Fairfield
Farm Arabians.

Affectionately known as "Puck"
because of his mischievous, fun
loving spirit, this good natured
stallion is a real pleasure to be
around.

At ten years old Puck is proving
to be a great testament to his sire
and dam. He is a near carbon copy
of his sire, FFC Grand Oran with
added substance and movement
from his dam. Puck is one of the last offspring of the wonderful mare Alazizat Subha (94879) who passed
away only a few years ago at
Fairfield Farm.   Check out his
pedigree at his Fairfield Farm page: www.fairfieldfarmarabians.com/

Or look for the link on our "Information and Links" page.

We have bred Puck very lightly and are excited to announce an expected foal in 2010. Fairfield Farm sent the lovely Twin Brooks mare TB Sharmara Camera "Cammie" to Puck in 2009. We are looking for Cammie's foal in May 2010.

Puck meets Cammie. Look for a beautiful baby in 2010!

Breeding Fees for this season will be:

$1000 for Purebred Arabian Mares
$500 for Non-Arabs

We will be able to ship semen.  Email us at info@lapisvia.com for more information.
